Brief history of faction B

Faction B did not originate cleanly.

Faction B is born as a “rebel group” to contrast the general council’s (Faction A at the time) stricter scheduling and demands. Something to contrast the general council’s need for stifling order and procedure.

Established 10 years ago by a student named Vincenzo de Luca along with his friend (his “consigliere”) Mera Montgomery. It started off as a small tutor group on the “darker” parts of magic as a whole, which the two are familiar about.

This eventually expanded into its own “underground” student group. The mafia-inspired structure is established by Vincenzo as an homage to his origins (frankly, it’s the only structure he knows). After Vincenzo dropped out in his third year, Mera took over as the “Capo famiglia.”

Over the years, rumors spread, establishing the presence of Faction B within the school’s ecosystem. It’s important to note that there was not a fight for power. There was no “need” to clean the faction out from the school.

Faction B was permitted to exist.
