Rules and Methods

  • given there always exists a real number greater than , there must exist a coordinate space of where (in theory).
  • an entity’s abstract form destabilizes as the nth dimension or the higher dimensional being slash world affects him: knowing forbidden truths, random effect of the realm, sudden instincts. this materializes in multiplying symbols and erratic control
  • entities if different iterations cannot see each other in the nth dimension given the law necessitates that only entities of the current iteration may exist at a time
    • however it doesn’t stop them from encountering other entities in lower dimensions. in some way, it disrupts the balance, but really, it’s just them accessing forbidden knowledge that causes backlash. the world course corrects; they forget the incident; they will instinctively know not to repeat it
  • every instinct saying no comes from the fact they had known what is not supposed to be known. essentially blocks are put in place. these blocks are removed once next iteration comes along.
  • the rules of the nth dimension are extensive. each iteration may only get to know certain sections as chance put it. cass and vi happen to learn of the bio-spiritual aspect of descending, while zeph relies solely on mathematical principals. both are correct. both can exist as valid methods. they can seem weirdly contradictory but at that point I’ll just take it and run with it.
  • the nth dimension still follow math rules. somewhat.
  • possessing living humans is a forbidden action for it tramples on a different realm entirely. the world shall course correct in accordance. possessing a non living entity and reanimating them is fair game however.
    • additional context: cassian and vitus’ acts if possession is a bit like astral projection. something is left in the nth dimension so they can return to that dimension. but that is not their main focus; they are stuck in the human world, experiencing the world in 3d form. this restricts what they can and cannot do.
  • the nth dimension can never erase the entity’s existence by turning it to . it can shape it and overwhelm it, yes, but the entity will be able to restore itself a la linear transformation.

I will preface this by saying each iteration has their ideas on how to reach the level of physicality to interact with the human realm (or sometimes referred to the 3rd dimension). Some may be absurd, impractical or downright insane. But we’re talking about beings who don’t obey common sense or believe in human logic. Or are confined to the 3rd dimension.

Entities are assumed to exist as abstract forms that non-localized and non-temporal. They are assumed to be of multidimensional matter and know of specific forms of intelligence. They carry no known biological nor chemical matter.

Entities belonging in the Nth dimension are restricted to only act within confines of dimensions and smaller. However, lesser dimension entities may not be able to interact with beings of higher dimensions, now should they be able to comprehend their existence.

To be able to physically act within a lower dimension, an entity of higher dimension must seek to conform within the rules of the lower dimension. One must go through a dimensional core shift via various means in order to conform.

It is the methodology used by certain iterations to conform into a lower dimension. These methods may fall into certain categories, such as:

  1. Mathematical
  2. Psychological
  3. Biological
  4. Transmutation
  5. Fragmentation

Some methods may fall into one or more categories. The key aim of this method is for the entity to be able to interact with a lower dimension to however means.

Despite the term ‘dimensional’, some methods do not necessarily include transforming into something of physicality (where ).

  1. Possessing a corpse (which is 3d)
  2. Linear (or non-linear I’m not quite sure) transformation
  3. Alchemy style — creating a human body
  4. Influencing human thought à la brainwashing or mind control
  5. Splitting themselves into multiple 3 dimensional pieces

when do they start understanding rather than copying

I’d say when they’re possessing children or teens, even more so after learning the language and writing.

Neuroplasticity is at its highest once the brain is ‘reactivated’. And because they can move from one child body to another, they obtain an extended critical period. While knowledge doesn’t carry over as much, note taking aids their understanding and information transferral.

With the basic information obtained and understood, they are able to make connections and expand on what they know. It also helps that learning is easier for a child brain.

Eventually, they were able to transfer knowledge in the brain to a cloud system, thus enabling transferral of information from one brain to another. So if a body is a no-go, they can simply back up their ‘brain’ and sync it with a new one, thus no need for much relearning.

do others name them?

In terms of their identity, not really. It is much more likely for them to name themselves with whatever word they come up with or see (or pretend to be mute if they cannot offer anything).

Given the bodies they possess were humans with identities, it is possible that people who know who the bodies were to be appalled and bewildered, calling them by their original name. They were confused at first, not knowing what is up. They were at some point studied (how is a dead person alive) but before the researchers can make significant progress, the lab burnt (not by the entities’ doing).

the situation occured multiple times until they decided it got too predictable and moved onto studying their own bodies (mimicking the researchers).

Do they dream?

In a literal sense, perhaps so if they choose to sleep.

One of the perks of living off ‘energy’ is that they only need to keep up the bare minimum just so they body is nourished and appears well. They can go days without sleeping, and even if they sleep, they don’t really sleep. Only their bodies are required to sleep and even then the benefits of sleep can be replicated to an extent by them.

Though sometimes the easiest thing to do is sleep, and so they do. Then the question is what is the true cause of dreams.

If we go by the theory that dreams are caused by random brain activity, then it is plausible that they dream in that sense.

But do they dream? Maybe in a sense that they look forward to what the future brings, what identities they can embody, but not so much ideas of grandeur.

Imagination and desire might be a product of neurones firing and neurotransmitters doing their job, so they come about once they have an active brain going. It doesn’t really mean they understood fully what is going on until they’re taught about it.
